One of the features of a residential foundation plan is the concrete which shows up the most in the foundation. The whole perimeter is concrete and the posts in the middle of the house are concrete as well. The concrete is surrounded by a layer of footing. On the outside of the house, there are decks which have beams and columns in the ground to support them, and these are also surrounded by a layer of footing. Since the foundation is below the house, you will still have to show the walls in the house and you do this by drawing hidden lines where they are located. Also, there are vents and crawl spaces to get in and out of the bottom foundation. The last feature is the hatching used in this plan. You need to have hatching for all of the concrete to show that there is concrete there and you also need hatching for the vents.
