How Did You Meet This Standard?
In this standard we learned how to letter like an architect. Lettering like an architect is fairly easy although you must do it properly and efficiently. I met this unit by doing all of my work and completing the tasks that I was given. The lettering did take a long time, but I managed my time wisely and completed the task. Doing all the lettering did tire out my hand and was a pain in the butt.
How Does The Standard Have Real-World Application?
This has a real world application because to be an architect you must be professional and writing the proper way is part of being a professional. I need to know how to have the proper writing skills for architecture. I will need to know how to use these techniques for a job in the future that might have me write things in architecture. Also, it has real-world application because it makes me have to adapt to new writing ways in order to be successful.
What Are Your Future Learning Goals Related To
This Standard?
This standard was not fun at all actually I found it quite time wasting and stupid, but it inspired me to later use these great writing skills in my job. My future learning goals are to fully understand lettering for architecture completely. I want to use lettering in the future for my job and show how good I am at lettering. Also, this standard has inspired me to improve my lettering technique and master lettering.
